ELITE COTTON POLO NECK
Take your shoes off, pat down your hair, and stand erect, preferably against a wall.
Place the measuring tape around the neck, just below your Adam’s apple. The tape should be resting lightly on the skin, not squeezing it.
Start with end of the tape on the outside edge of the shoulder, where you want the stiching of a clothing to start. This is where the vertical part of the shoulder meets the horizontal part of the arm. Measure over the back, from one edge of the shoulders to the other edge of the shoulder.
From the edge of the shoulder, measure down the arm to the elbow and continue towards the wrist. Measure to the center of the meaty part of your palm, to where you want the edge of the garment to be.
Stand straight and have your arm hanging relaxed at your side. Measure around the fullest point of a bicep. Tape should be resting lightly on the skin.
Measure around your wrist bones. The measuring tape should be tight to the skin.
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor. Make sure your arms are relaxed.
Your waist measurement should be taken at the smaller section of your natural waist, usually located just above the belly button. If you bend sideways, this is the point where the crease forms.
Standing with your heels together, run a tape measure around the fullest part of your seat, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.
